Questions parents ask

Something else? Ask in your application, and we will answer when we write.

Who are the classes for?

Families teaching their children at home. You choose one to five live classes each weekday for each child.

Who teaches them?

Tutors we take on and pair with your child. Each teaches their own subjects, and the pairings are set up for you.

When does the evening email come?

At 5 pm on your own clock, once every class that day has been read, and by 5:30 at the latest. Every parent gets their own copy.

What if we miss a class?

Parents and tutors can cancel or move a lesson up to 24 hours before it starts. After that you can still cancel, and the tutor is paid for the time.

How does paying work?

By card, monthly, one place per child. Stop whenever you like, and it runs to the end of the month you paid for.

What happens to our data?

Classes are recorded and transcribed to make the quizzes and the evening email. You can delete a child or the whole family at any time, with seven days to change your mind.

Can a tutor message my child?

Only on the record. Parents read every conversation, and nobody writes to a child in private.

How do I know they are keeping up?

The Progress page shows homework done week by week, quiz and test scores by topic, and class notes opened, with a list of anything that needs attention.
